Lately, I've been obsessed with over the knee boots, so it's only right that I finally took the plunge and purchased myself a pair (or two). I was able to purchase the Sam Edelman boots during Black Friday and saved a ton. If you're like myself then you've probably been day-dreaming about a few too or have already taken the plunge. With the holidays and Christmas sales happening soon, I'd suggest finding your favorites and striking when the sales happened. Let me not rule out this amazing and affordable pair from Zara, it found its home in my closet too.

Our favorite duchess was in town, and only two train stops away! Trust me when I tell you that I attempted to get tickets to that night's game but with no avail. DRATS, hopefully I'll catch the royals another time. Kate Middleton's personal style has always been in the limelight, granted everything she wears will always be scrutinized but at the same time - everything she wears, I always fall in love with. With the best (full-body) photo I could find of her from that night, I attempted to recreate her look and for less! I didn't add a top in, but you could wear this ensemble with any nice black tunics or knits that cover your bum.
