Before wondering why I'm not wearing snow shoes, let me first state that the flurries were a few hours early. The snowy surprise made for a fun photoshoot, for all parties included (minus the cabbies). It was surprisingly warm enough for ankle nudity which I took advantage of in my Aerosoles oxfords.

Oxfords have long been on my radar before T. Swift made them a part of her daily uniform. I browsed the interwebs, occasionally adding a pair to my "bag" to only delete them later. Nothing really stood out to me and the thought of purchasing a pair for the sake of having them was... Unlike me. I needed one with character, one that gave me that feeling - the accomplishment oxfords in snakeskin gave me that feeling. They were on mega sale too (#tinywin). Plus, wearing them was comparable to walking on baby clouds - if that makes sense.
These oxfords also gave new life to my Canadian tuxedo - seen here and here but layered. I highly recommend sprucing up yours with all the fun sweaters this season has to offer! Although a bit masculine at times, there's always an option to put a bow on it. I did it with my (sister's) vintage Miu Miu. The loaner bag is still in my possession (high-five guys!!) so it may become a repeat offender on the blog.
Sidenote: don't forget to check out my Poshmark for a few steals and deals!
