Went upstate to the Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery, for some apple picking but most importantly to relax and take in ALL of the ciders. It's safe to say I woke up dead the next day, but it was so worth it to hang with friends and family!

It felt great to getaway from the city and the internets (no service there) and really connect with people without glancing at our phones every so often - guilty. So yes, if you go up to Warwick (or the Wick as they call it) there is no service, but know this - the food is amazing, they have live music on the weekends, and there is an unlimited supply and great variety of booze. It's also kid friendly... Well, what apple picking spot isn't?
For the trip turned picnic I went with something comfortable aka My Charlie Jeans from Lucky Brand. They stretch like no other and would be perfect for sitting crossed legged on hours not so bad. Haha, you know when you're going to be sitting on the ground the last thing you want to worry about is your butt hanging out, so these got me covered. Also wore my brand new (and didn't hurt at the end of the day) Jillian booties - they're similar to the Chelsea boots except they're embellished with crochet detailing.
If you're in the Tri-State area let me know if you end up going to the Wick!
