Hey guys! I'm back, a teensy bit sick (my sinuses are having a field day) but also a bit refreshed from being able to kick back and relax with family + friends. I mean any break from screens (TV included) is one I will gladly accept, so apologies for being a little all over the place when posting this month.
Another thing, I've indulged in quite a bit of comfort food, so jeans with LOTS of stretch and outfits that are a bit forgiving as I "hibernate" is the current uniform. If you're on the same boat then today's post may be handy, or at least know that you got a friend going through the same struggle over here :).
Turtleneck: J. Crew Sweater: HM Jeans: Vigoss Sneakers: c/o Shoes Like Pottery Rings: Zoetik Purse: The Sak Socks: c/o K. Bell Mousse: Beautiful Textures
My repeat offenders consist of these super stretchy Vigoss Chelsea jeans and tissue turtleneck from J. Crew (all-time favorite). The jeans offer lots of stretch (a must) and the dark wash goes with basically anything, while the turtleneck is super easy to layer under all my knits. Once it gets warmer the two alone would make for a great off-duty uniform.
Same thing goes for my feet, they need to stay warm and comfortable. I tested these hi-tops from Shoes Like Pottery on my very long, hectic, and last-minute Christmas shopping and they passed with flying colors. Unlike Converses, each shoe is hand sewn and fired in a kiln (just like pottery) making each pair soft, flexible, an most important durable. The perfect accomplice to said Pottery shoes, is K. Bell slouchy socks. Sidenote: If your socks go missing like mine tend to do after any laundry day, then you may want to give K. Bell a try - there's always a good sale happening.
This is the last style post of the year (can you believe it!!), so expect the December Rack Up and Year in Review + 2015 resolutions soon. After that, I'm going to take a digital break until the 5th of January.
Talk Soon!
