I'll be the first to admit I have an unattractive townie attitude when it comes to New York F-ing City - it's not my best quality but I am learning to be better about it. In fact, when it comes to Brooklyn talk I'm a little more reserved. I'm a Queens' girl at heart and didn't venture into the Kings county for fun until my late teens - Brooklyn was much different then. Let's not forget there was always a Queens against Brooklyn and vice versa attitude when I was growing up.

In a way Brooklyn (minus Coney Island) and all it's side streets are still very new to me. Before heading out to any neighborhood (new or familiar) I turn to yelp or my favorite neigborhood blog, The Q at Parkside, to see what's new or what's worth a visit. Then after all the details have been planned, I decide on what's going on my body. Guess you can say, I'm very analytical. But for those of you who looking for a two in one, there's an easier option from boohoo.com.
Currently available for New York City and Paris, boohoo's city guide gives the best the best when it comes to eats, drinks, shops, and culture. Once you decided where to go, it'll then recommend you a customized outfit to where to the location. One of the spots the city guide recommended for me while in downtown Brooklyn, was the Brooklyn Museum - a sign from the gods to visit the killer heels exhibition. And since we both know I'm very crazy analytical, I figured it's best for me to style myself from their extensive (and wallet friendly) selections of winter-wear. I went with a cozy and super warm sweater dress and dressed-for-fall-jellies.

P.s. If you happen to find yourself in downtown Manhattan, stop by their pop-up shop - it'll close this Thursday but is worth a visit!! Find it at 462 West Broadway.
