So, this could be another post about how over the winter I am or it can be a post on how when it reaches Spring-ish weather I throw on the prettiest dresses and hit the town. OR, I could *gasp* not talk about the weather?
I choose to instead, ramble on about blogging. It's been a side hobby I've done for years that turned into passion. Something about it makes me wake up at 6am (which isn't easy), to edit photographs, draft posts, style outfits, respond to readers and companies, plan content and then do it all over again from 8pm to midnight (after getting back from work). And that's not even half of what I do to bring you guys the best content. There are days, much like today, where I write my blog posts on the (crowded rush hour) go. It brings me so much joy but at the same time I can feel a bit overwhelmed as if I'm constantly working on it. But I do it for myself; having this creative outlet makes me happy and it makes it all worth it when people read what I've written. It makes me deliriously happy when I get comments too, even those "follow for follow" comments make me happy. Blogging has also introduced me to new friends and basically gave me a career. So, I just want to take a little moment to say thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. And a special shout to those who have stuck with me since 2008. Who would've thought I'd still be here on the other side of my (3rd) laptop.
Also for those of who with 9 to 5 jobs or kids, please I beg of thee, what do you do to help keep your blog life a little more sane. I'm always open to ways to streamline my workload and spending more quality time with my boo and family.
P.s. I just got a write up on Phenolot's blog, please check it out here.
