Alrighty, after going through my hard drive plus organizing my photos, I'm convinced I am subconsciously drawn to stripes, prints, and brights. Not necessarily a bad thing, but maybe I should focus (really, really hard) on getting more neutral basics.
Another thing I realized, I never post up any date night outfits. Since we are in the month of L O V E, why not start today. It's always fun to get all dolled up and make pretend my boyfriend has never seen me with a rat's nest in my hair (trust, they can be terrifying). When it comes to fancy-ish occasions, I feel like going noir or with stripes have never failed me, so they're usually the first things I reach for when the time calls. And of course I always leave my hair down, since it's his favorite part.
