Baby suede shoes, a cropped sweater, and a midi pencil skirt. Oh how I've been craving thee throughout the polar vortex. And you best believe they were the first things I reached for when temps hit a glorious 48 degrees.
I honestly felt like a butterfly breaking out of a cocoon. But if the vortex and snowstorms must return (and they did this weekend a g a i n), at least I found the perfect cropped sweater to go with any high waisted jeans (layered over a million pair of leggings of course). Ahh! The silver lining. And the shoes... well into their box they must go until they can bloom again in spring and receive their rightful praise. Not to be overly dramatic or anything, but I'd probably die if they were tarnished by the sludge-snow mess coating the NYC sidewalks.
And ladies, if you have yet to find a show stopper pair of heels I urge you to start the search now. There's nothing better than feeling like you can own the day in some kick ass shoes.
