We've all seen them. Some of us even have quite a few tees to last all season. But the real question is how do you style such a bold tee without looking like you're on your way to daycare.
The conclusion that I came up with is to put the focus on your spirit-animal-tee of choice and infuse the rest of your outfit with light hardware and a pair of high waisted denim shorts. Since the tee isn't fitted, the high waisted shorts are must and the best way to define the waist and ladylike charms. After you've done the fashion math and still need it to pop a little more, try a bright lip, wayfarers, and stand-out footwear. I did all three and felt like I never went overboard, not to mention the extremely light use of accessories (notice the absence of a ring and arm party).
With an insanely awesome shirt, a few bold color combinations, there's no way you'll be mistaken for a toddler on this island. NOW you're ready to take on the heat on any NYC subway platform.
Do you have any Mountain tees & how did you style it? Drop me a line in the comments below.
