I once had a big issue with color. When I applied it to my face it was one of those "way too much" fiascos. I would do big bold eyes, bright lips and lots of rogue on my cheeks. It was a diaster!! But I was obsessed with living loud, and it was only until a good friend gave me a reality check did I stop using color and now have a ton of fotos from my baby days that no one will ever see. But, it wasn't me. I live for color. Only when I started modeling and working with all these make-up artist did I start using color correctly.
One of my favorite tips someone taught me is to use a bold bright color (hello teal eyeliner!!) and line your lower lash line with it. Add a shimmery nude or gold shadow to your lid and add a layer of mascara (no more no less). Keep the rest of your face bare or add a light dusting of bronzer. And for your lips - keep them bare or use clear lip gloss.
I'm trying out this look above and it's one of my favorite spring face takes. So just keep in mind, if one part of your face is going to be bright and bold keep the rest neutral.
