Have you seen the amount of trash we have at the dumps? It's really pathetic on our part that we aren't doing more about it. These pens are made to last seven years which saves us from dumping out unneccessary trash. As a student/writer/waitress it's a good habit for me to start using one of these babies instead of going through millions. I recommend you do the same. Another plus point: less clutter around the desk/work area!
I mean check out this mess:
We can stop producing so much of this mess if we just learned to use less or reuse what we have. There really is no need for us to keep updating our phones every year, or bringing home purchases in plastic bags.
There's no need to completely 180 your life, but starting to do really small things can help... especially if everyone chips in. I am not the most granola person, but I do vow to change certain habits of mine.
Here's what I plan to work on:
1. Use the library more instead of buying books.
2. Get ma to start using the totes I got her for groceries instead of plastic bags.
3. Clean the place with earth friendly products.
