Inside My Makeup Bag

Every girl has one. This is mine. Welcome to the secret contents of my makeup bag.

Everything is tucked away nicely in my Jacobs for Marc Jacobs pouch.

The items from left to right: Estee Lauder blush brush, Clinique quickliner for eyes in 10 dark chocolate, Revlon nail clipper, twistband tie for my hair, Stila eyeshadow in Kitten, Stila illuminating finishing powder, Prada Infusion D'Iris eau de parfum, Maybelline eyelash curler, Paula Dorf cheek color cream in candy apple.

These items help me looking alive and not like your average tired out waitress when on the floor and outside of work.

"Chum" Video Premiere

Earl Sweatshirt "Chum" from Hiro Murai on Vimeo.

Earl Sweatshirt has been generating a ton of buzz. Next year is going to be his year and wouldn't you know it... 1993.... 2013. It could be an awesome year for hip-hop with his presence.

He's emotionally raw in "Chum" yet so mysterious. Honestly, where did this guy come from but I'm so happy he's arrived. Can't get enough of the piano and drums on loop; very happy ears. Excited for the arrival of "Doris" his upcoming album and it makes me wonder what OddFuture's been up to.

Apartment Project: The Bathroom Pt. 4

There's still a lot that needs to be done to make the bathroom more... Bright, but in black. Without wanting to paint the walls or change the tiles (as if) I decided to go with another inexpensive route: changing the toilet seat lid.

Success! There's still that pop to separate all that ugly white.

For the toilet seat lid I made sure to stay away from plastic and went with wood; I'm not a fan of the filmsy feeling when going number two. Need stability for sure.

And this is what I'm left with. Now to figure out a better (and classier) way to store my wet wipes and toilet paper, haha! Here's where I got the toilet seat lid: Comfort Seats
