If I didn't mention how insanely windy and frigid it was the day this look was shot, I'd be living a lie. GUYS, it was so cold my fingers were turning purple and keeping my eyes open was another story - so apologies in advance if I'm a little heavy lidded. Regardless, this look and I survived + the photos prove that this floral skirt is here throughout winter.

In all honesty, florals can work in any season - it's all about how you WERK it. For instance, you want to keep any floral look for spring bright, light, and airy. When it comes to winter you'd want to play around with those opposites (neutrals, knits, layers) for a more weather appropriate look. Oh, and lots of thick winter leggings - the ones from Plush or American Apparel are pretty amazing are keeping my legs nice and cozy.
On this day my moto jacket kept me warm for a quick shoot in Soho and a fun coffee date before scrambling off to work. I'm currently facing a ton of projects + deadlines at work (lots of sitting UGH) - so shooting in the blistery cold is welcomed with arms wide open. Any reason to stretch is a good one, right!
Stay warm friends!!
