Welcome to my 'Iggy Azealea' sweater. It's not actually called the Iggy Azelea sweater, but that's definitely how I feel whenever I work it. Not wear but work. And it's insanely warm for these chilly nights that have sadly snuck up on us.
We all heard that fall is meant for layering, and not wanting to sound like a broken record player let's just agree and move on. But how does one layer and avoid getting stuck in a neutral plateau. You gotta mix it up and be bright.
Here's how I avoid looking like a crazy cat lady:
1. Use (p)leather as a base to build upon.
2. Throw on prints as one of the layers.
3. If you're going to go bold, keep it in the same color family as the prints.
4. Smile. You look amazing!
Now some of you might be thinking, red and purple aren't in the same color family. However, these colors do neighbor each other making this pair a safe bet. So make sure you consider neighboring colors as an option. Click here for a color wheel.
