The bad and good thing about me is that I take strangers into consideration. I try not to shove them or skip them on the escalator (unless I'm late) because who knows what sort of day they're having. Everyone deserves a chance to be helped and heard; not immediately written off. Saying you already know someone is an insult and taking away from them in the sense that you haven't "lived through their shoes". Do you really know what to expect from someone? Not really.
For today, if someone wants to talk, don't say anything and just listen. The same goes for everyone today. When someone starts to chat, just sit back and listen. You can learn so much just by listening and not including your side of the story or how you see it.
